The Keychron K8 Pro QMK/VIA Wireless Mechanical Keyboard allows users to customize keyboard keys and macro commands through VIA. The K8P-J1 sold on this page is a fully assembled, hot-swappable version with Gateron G Pro Red switches and includes keycaps for both Windows and macOS.

Customize keys, macros, and commands through VIA. Together with Keychron's signature features and upgraded typing design, the K8 Pro offers extensive customization for everyday use.

Wireless and Wired
Connect the K8 Pro with up to three devices wirelessly through
Bluetooth 5.1 for multitasking across your laptop, phone, and
tablet. Switch between devices as needed, with support for both
Mac and Windows.
A reliable USB Type-C wired connection is also available.
Program with QMK & Launcher
Open-source QMK firmware enables key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and other customization. You can also configure keys using the Keychron Launcher web app.

Upgraded Typing Experience
The K8 Pro has been redesigned from the inside out to improve the typing experience. Sound-absorbing foam, a thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and a steel plate help provide responsive feedback, reduced resonance, and increased stability.
Suitable For Mac and Windows
The K8 Pro offers a Mac-oriented layout while remaining
compatible with Windows.
You can configure different keymaps for Mac and Windows devices,
while VIA software is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Keycaps for both macOS and Windows are included for easier
switching between operating systems.

Hot-Swappable
The K8P-J1 sold on this page is hot-swappable and supports compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches without soldering. This configuration comes fully assembled with Gateron G Pro Red switches.
Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers help provide a smoother typing experience with reduced wobble on larger keys such as the space bar, Shift, Enter, and Delete. The K8 Pro also supports compatible third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
Gateron G Pro Red Switches
The K8P-J1 comes with Gateron G Pro Red linear switches. G Pro switches are designed for reduced stem wobble and a smooth keypress, with factory pre-lubrication for improved feel.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps
The K8 Pro uses Keychron's OSA profile, combining an OEM-style height with a spherical-angle shape. Double-shot PBT keycaps provide a durable typing surface with strong resistance to long-term wear and shine.
South-Facing RGB Lights
South-facing RGB lighting is designed to provide better
illumination from the typist's viewing angle. The south-facing
LEDs also help reduce interference when compatible Cherry-profile
replacement keycaps are installed.
Multiple RGB lighting effects are available, along with controls
for hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed.
Ergonomic Support
Three adjustable typing angles (0°, 6°, and 9°), an inclined bottom frame, and curved OSA-profile keycaps work together to provide a comfortable typing position.
